The City of West Sacramento, in partnership with Tree Davis, is offering free fruit trees for your home, business, place of worship or school if located north of the barge canal in West Sacramento. A grant funding the free tree giveaway has a targeted this area only. The 140 fruit trees include: Honeycrisp Apple, Green Gage Plum, Satsuma Plum, and Anjou Pear!
Get your free fruit trees by attending a workshop on either February 6th or February 22nd at 5 p.m. in the West Sacramento Community Center located at 1075 West Capitol Avenue. Call 530-758-7337 to sign up or simply show up!
